By nature, wood-fired pots are unique and varied.  One side can most certainly look different than another.  The side facing the front of the kiln may have more ash than the back, which can be smoother or shinier.  However, sometimes a pot can get a very even firing.  This uniqueness is the great thing about wood firing.  You can be assured that these pots are all top quality, ones that we feel got the best possible firing.  If you feel that you need more pictures of a certain pot, don't hesitate to email us and ask.  All of these pots are food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
